The Dale family often goes to the lake for fun, but the star of their outings is Ollie, a mini cow who loves water and jet skis.
Ollie Takes the Plunge
Ollie is different from most Dexter cattle or mini cows. He’s happy in the water like his dog friends.
Teddy Dale found this out on a warm day when Ollie jumped in and headed straight for him.
“It was just a hot day. Ollie was just standing in the water. All of a sudden, Ollie took a leap and started swimming right out to me,” Teddy shared.
Water Adventurer
Ollie didn’t stop with swimming. He’s also curious about boats and jet skis.
He hopped on the jet ski with Teddy like it was a regular thing.
“Ollie acted like it was nothing, that he was supposed to be there. When it was time to get him off, he just stood up there. He wasn’t in a hurry to get off,” Teddy said, describing their jet ski experience.
During his first boat ride, he explored everything and seemed to really enjoy the feel of the wind as he watched the water. Now, being on the boat is one of his favorite things.
Happy and Hungry
Ollie also shows his adorable side, indicating how comfortable he is with his family.
Amber Dale laughs as she talks about how much Ollie loves to eat and will keep begging until he gets a share.
“If you’re eating, Ollie’s all in your face,” she says, describing how you should expect him to be beside you, wanting a bite.
Bringing Joy

He may not be the typical pet, but his presence is a daily reminder of the limitless forms that family love can take.
