Ashley Boggs, who works with Miracles for Satos Rescue, was driving when she noticed a small brown dog looking for help from anyone driving by on a secluded forest road in Puerto Rico.
The dog’s desperate behavior made Boggs stop her car to see what was wrong.
Following the Mother Dog
Boggs saw that the dog was a mom who had puppies somewhere.
She followed the anxious mother, who led her to two puppies that were too close to the road and in danger.
Finding More Puppies
After making sure the first two puppies were safe, Boggs heard sad cries coming from the forest.
She followed the sounds and found four more puppies all by themselves.
Boggs rescued all of them, making sure she didn’t miss any.
A Heartfelt Thank You
Back together with her pups, the mother dog, now named Goji, showed her thanks to Boggs by giving her cuddles and kisses.
New Home
At the shelter, Goji and her puppies were so friendly and playful that everyone who worked there fell in love with them.
Two of the puppies have already been adopted into new homes, and there’s hope that the others will find their own happy homes soon.

Because of Boggs’s kindness, Goji and her puppies are now safe and cared for.
