Gaby is a professional outdoor educator and guide with extensive experience leading small groups in remote settings.
She works for a number of US-based and multinational outdoor organizations as an instructor and guide, helping others explore some of the world’s most beautiful places.
As a freelance writer, Gaby specializes in creating engaging and educational articles about the outdoors.
When not working, Gaby spends her time traveling, reading French existentialism, and drinking debatably excessive amounts of espresso.
Gaby has a master’s degree in outdoor education from the University of Edinburgh, where she conducted her research on the effectiveness of wilderness medicine education. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and environmental studies from Hamilton College. In addition to her academic studies, Gaby is an AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor-Lead and a Wilderness EMT.
