As the house slowly woke up, Niko, the dog, was ready to start the day with baby Mia, even though it was still very early.
Niko, always by Mia’s side, was there to help her learn to crawl.
Mia, who her family calls affectionately, was full of energy and ready to learn, even if the rest of the world was still asleep.
A Trio of Furry Friends
Niko isn’t the only animal in the house looking after Mia.
Together with Phil, another big dog, and Milo, a friendly cat, they all watch over Mia and show her love in their own ways.
The Gentle Giants

Malamutes like Niko are known for being good-natured and smart, making them excellent pets, especially for families with kids.
They enjoy being around people and are happy to be part of any family fun. Niko is a great example of this, always wanting to join in and help out with Mia’s activities.
A Lesson in Patience

Teaching Mia to crawl wasn’t easy. While Mia tried hard, she mostly rocked back and forth on her hands and knees.
Niko stayed close, making sure Mia was safe, especially when Mia rolled over and couldn’t get back up by herself.
Mimicry and Play

Mia’s mom set up a crawling lesson on the bed with Niko as the teacher. Niko showed Mia how to move her arms and crawl.
But Mia seemed a bit confused and instead rolled over again, something she already knew how to do well.
Bonding Time
Even though Mia didn’t start crawling that morning, she and Niko had a great time together.
Niko would yawn and take breaks, but she was always there for Mia, showing her love and patience.
Celebrating the Effort

Niko did her best to teach Mia, staying by her side the whole time. After their morning together, Niko got to have breakfast and play with Phil, her dog buddy.
As for Mia, she’ll have more chances to learn, and with Niko by her side, she’ll get it in no time.
The mornings with Niko and Mia are more than just about crawling.
They’re a time for growing their friendship and making memories, showing us how special the bond between a dog and a child can be.
