In a cozy Ottawa condo, a white and brown cat named Ivy puts on a special show. Her cute stretches and dances have won everyone’s hearts.
Her Little Dance
Stephanie Bezeau, Ivy’s owner, filmed and shared Ivy’s dance, and it became a hit fast, with over 5.4 million views in just days.
Every morning, Stephanie says, “Good morning little Ivy,” and that’s Ivy’s cue to stand on her back legs and start her dance.
Studies show cats recognize their owner’s voice, which could be why Ivy responds so well to Stephanie.
A Strong Connection
Stephanie wasn’t sure about getting cats after her dog passed away, but Ivy and her brother Lex quickly won her over.
“It’s all about protecting precious Ivy. It’s Ivy’s home. We just pay the rent for her,” Stephanie jokes, showing how much they love their little furry superstar.
Dancing All Day
“I thought it was a one-time thing. Now it’s morning, afternoon, evening, nighttime. It’s kind of whenever she’s in the mood,” Stephanie said.
It was not just in the morning. Ivy is busting out her moves any time of day.
Now, her friends and people who come over look forward to seeing her dance whenever they visit.
Making Life Even Brighter
Ivy’s story shows us the happiness that comes from sharing our homes with pets who have their own little worlds.
Ivy’s joyful performances remind us of the deep emotional connections we can form with our animal companions and how they can turn even the simplest of interactions into treasured memories.
