Zhang, a local from Shandong, found a moving scene — a lonely puppy next to a river, with a yellow ribbon around its neck, cuddling a stuffed toy.
She filmed the moment, not fully understanding just how much the puppy cared for the teddy bear.
Seeing the puppy needed help, Zhang stepped in to save it.
An Unbreakable Bond
As they began to leave, the puppy kept looking back at its teddy bear friend it had left behind.
The puppy even nudged Zhang’s leg with its paw and made small noises, like it wanted her to see something important.
When Zhang realized what the puppy wanted, she watched it go back to lick the teddy bear and pick it up in its mouth.
It was the puppy’s way of saying, “Don’t forget my friend.”

“If I am not able to look after four dogs, I will find someone to adopt it and its teddy bear,” said Zhang.
