Some dogs are more than just pets—they’re part of the family. And like any family member, they often copy each other in the most adorable ways.
This is the story of Dustin, a lively little Jack Russell and Pug mix, and his corgi brother, Tayto, whose short legs have a special charm.
Best Buddies with Four Paws
Corgis are known for their stubby legs, which people find incredibly cute. Other dogs, like Dustin, seem to be amused by them as well.
Although Dustin and Tayto are from different dog breeds, they are best friends who love to stick together.
They’re so popular that they even have an Instagram where they share adorable photos and videos with their followers.
The Popular Clip
One of their videos recently became a big hit. It shows the two dogs walking, but Dustin starts walking low to the ground, just like Tayto.
It’s as if Dustin wants to show that he can walk like his brother.
However, Tayto doesn’t seem to like being copied and gives a small bark as if asking Dustin to stop.
Dustin considers this for a moment but then playfully sneezes and continues on his way.
Dustin’s Belly-Crawl
The video made them famous, but there’s more to the story. Their owner, Ailish Ryan, believes Dustin isn’t actually making fun of Tayto.
She says Dustin has been doing his unique belly crawl since before Tayto joined the family, usually when he wakes up.
When fans asked about Dustin’s quirky behavior, Ryan responded that he probably does it to scratch his belly, but she also joked that maybe he enjoys mimicking his brother.
She shared that Dustin does his belly-scoot just about every morning and sometimes before bed too.
Why the Scoot?
We may never fully understand why Dustin likes to scoot this way.
It might be a fun way for him to scratch his belly, or maybe he’s poking fun at Tayto in a brotherly way.
Regardless of the reason, Dustin shows us the playful and unpredictable sides of dogs that bring joy to our lives.
Celebrating Their Playfulness
Every pet has unique habits that make us love them even more. Dustin and Tayto are no exception.
Their story reminds us to appreciate the fun and unexpected moments that come from our furry family members’ interactions.
