Ann Briggs is a full-time freelance writer specializing in travel, science, and the outdoors. Her publications range from peer-reviewed work in academic journal articles and textbooks to online articles for blogs, ebooks, and websites. From her degrees in conservation biology and science communication, Ann has cultivated a passion for the conservation of nature and outdoor resources.
The purpose of Ann’s writing is to make outdoor recreation accessible and to encourage an appreciation of nature, science, and the outdoors. In addition to her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, Ann is certified in wilderness first aid and trained as a safari guide in Botswana.
