On an ordinary day, while scrolling on Instagram, Sandra Daniloff found a cat who needed help.
His name was Bruce Willis, and he had been through a lot, with scars and battle marks to show for it.
Sad Discovery
Bruce was an outdoor cat before coming to the Animal Humane Society in Minnesota, and it looked like he had fought hard to live.
“There was something about the look on this face that just made my heart sink,” Sandra said.
Saving Bruce
Even though Sandra’s apartment didn’t allow pets, she couldn’t stop thinking about Bruce. He had difficulty finding a home because he had FIV, a cat virus.
Sandra did everything she could to help him, visiting him and asking around for someone to adopt him.
Home at Last
Sandra’s efforts paid off when she was finally allowed by her landlord to bring Bruce home.
He settled in right away, exploring and asking for belly rubs. He seemed really happy to have a home after so long.
Internet Star
Bruce’s life is now full of play and comfort. He’s become popular online, with people loving his happy naps and playful moments.
Living Well
Bruce’s story shows cats with FIV can live well and be happy, especially with someone who cares for them, like Sandra.
