Ouachita National Forest’s 5 logged sightings anchor the state’s top named site.
The records fall in January, March, and April, 3 each, and come only from Polk and Little River counties in western Arkansas, too few to show a seasonal pattern in a mouse that stays active year-round without hibernating.
