Trowbridge’s shrew records in Oregon lean toward moist western forests and foothills, with a named foothold in the Columbia River Gorge and additional context from the Willamette Valley. The monthly series is strongly concentrated from May through October, especially May and late summer, while winter reports are scarce. Much of that pattern may reflect detectability and collection effort; record totals are evidence of documentation, not shrew abundance.
