Robert Brantley’s usual drive to the shooting range in Monroe, Louisiana, took a surprising turn when he stopped to save one kitten and ended up rescuing twelve more.
His good deed was caught on video and quickly went viral, leading to an incredible wave of support.

Brantley picked up one kitten, which he later named Scout, but to his surprise, a dozen more kittens popped out from the grass and surrounded him.
This adorable ambush was captured on video and has since been loved by people everywhere.
